i-Size security
The HI-LINER was developed according to the new i-Size standard and is approved according to the latest R129 regulations, which will be mandatory from September 2023. As a result, the child seat offers reliable and optimal safety for your child for the i-Size standard that will be required in the future.
Comfort meets functionality
The improved seat and the generously padded, soft fabric covers offer additional comfort, especially on long journeys. Thanks to the slim design, up to three HI-LINER seats can be installed on the back seat of a wide range of car models. When changing the seat between vehicles, practical markings help to find the correct setting first time. The ISOFIX system makes installation easy and safe.
Sustainability made in Germany
In contrast to our competitors, we manufacture the majority of our car seats in Germany. This not only guarantees the highest production quality – it also shortens transport routes and thus significantly reduces the burden on the environment. To make the HI-LINER even more sustainable, it comes in a compact and recycled cardboard box, making transportation efficient.
All functions at a glance
• Easily adjustable, ergonomic headrest: The headrest has been designed to be particularly comfortable for older children. It is easy to put in the right position. Here, handy markings on the back help to find the correct setting every time the seat is changed between cars or shared by different children.
• Three child seats side by side: Thanks to the slim and compact design, up to three child seats can be attached side by side on the back seat of many vehicles.
• New ISOFIX connectors: The HI-LINER has our new ISOFIX connectors. The connectors can be operated independently of each other, making installation easier.
• Removable cover: Sometimes things get really messy in the car. It’s easy to spill a drink or your child may get sick from driving. With foresight, Britax Römer has developed a machine-washable seat cover that can be easily removed. So you can get the seat clean again quickly – and you can continue.
• Protection thanks to the high backrest: Child seats with a backrest protect your child in three ways: the seat shell protects your child from head to hip, especially in the event of a side impact. At the same time, the upper and lower belt guides ensure that the vehicle belt is in the right place and the padded headrest offers security and comfort for your child’s head and neck.
• Adjustable backrest: The backrest of the child seat is adjustable. This allows you to align it with the angle of the vehicle seat so that it fits better and your child sits in a more comfortable position.
Installation
With belt and ISOFIX attachment
This child seat must be installed in your vehicle with the 3-point belt of the vehicle and the ISOFIX anchor points. This ensures that the child seat is securely fastened in the car – even if your child is not in it.
HI-LINER has integrated ISOFIX connectors that allow you to connect the child car seat to your car’s ISOFIX mounting points. If your child is secured with the car’s 3-point belt system, the ISOFIX system offers optimal protection in the event of an accident and ensures that the car seat is always firmly connected to the car – even if your little passenger is not sitting in it.
