The BABY-SAFE Pro accompanies your little one from birth to 15 months and can be installed on the FLEX BASE 5Z, with the vehicle belt or on a variety of strollers.

The BABY-SAFE Pro can be easily removed from the base station and can be placed in the Ergo Recline position with just one hand, so that you can always travel flexibly. Putting your child in and buckling it up is now even easier: When the BABY-SAFE Pro is installed on the Vario-Base, you can turn it directly towards the open car door – for easy and quick access to your baby! Since the unlocking button rotates, it is also easy and convenient to access – so you can easily take the baby seat out of the car.

That’s why the Vario-Base offers a unique angle adjustment to optimize the position of the baby seat for your car. Adjustable carrying handle:Well thought out: the carrying handle can be easily adjusted backwards so that you can comfortably place your child in the baby seat. All you need to do is unlock the buttons on each side of the carrying handle. And when you put the baby seat on the floor, it’s best to put the carrying handle all the way back so that it doesn’t rock.
Extra large sun canopy:The particularly large sun canopy with UPF 50+, which is independent of the carrying handle, protects your baby from both the sun and wind. At the same time, it offers a quiet, protected place for cozy and relaxing naps when you’re on the go.

Quickly removable cover:Sometimes things get pretty chaotic on the street. It’s easy to spill a drink or your child might get sick from driving. With foresight, Britax Römer has developed a machine washable seat cover that can be easily removed without having to remove the belt. This way you can get the seat clean again quickly – and you can continue.
Always correctly installed:Whether on the Vario base or on the stroller – thanks to the clearly audible click sound, you can always be sure that the BABY-SAFE Pro is installed correctly. Additionally, a highly visible indicator on the base station release button provides additional reassurance about correct installation.
Installation
i-Size
Britax Römer i-Size Bases fit all vehicle seating positions approved for i-Size. Please check your vehicle manual to see whether your car has such approved vehicle seating positions.
On the base
Imagine your baby is sound asleep and you have to either lift him out of the car or put him in the car – without waking him. In such cases, many parents really appreciate the baby car seat bases. While the base is safely and securely installed in the car and stays there, you can remove the baby seat from the base with a simple movement or click on the base. Without much effort and without disturbing your little one.
With strap
This child seat can be installed using the vehicle’s 3-point belt. This is useful if you want to install the child seat in different cars, which may not all have ISOFIX anchor points. The belt guides on the car seat help you to install the child seat correctly. If the BABY-SAFE Pro is installed with the 3-point vehicle belt, the carrying handle of the baby seat must be aligned towards the back seat of the car. See user manual for more details.
On the stroller
There are days when there is just a lot going on. If you and your baby are traveling in the car, you can make things a little easier for yourself by using the baby seat together with the stroller. Simply take the baby seat out of the car with your little one and let it lock securely onto the stroller. And you can get started.
