Handy no matter how you twist and turn it.
With just one push of a button, the DUALFIX M PLUS can be easily turned towards the open car door. So you can easily lift your child into the seat and buckle up. Then simply turn the seat back into the desired position until it locks into place. And the journey can begin.
Change direction with a twist
The DUALFIX M PLUS always points you in the right direction. So you can use the seat up to 20 kg as a reboarder. Thanks to more legroom thanks to the short support bracket. Or you turn the seat forward with a push of a button as soon as your child is big enough.

The Dualfix M Plus has new ISOFIX connectors. These can be operated independently of one another, making installation easier.
More rear-facing
In a frontal collision – the most common type of traffic accident – rear-facing car seats offer the best protection. Because the force of the impact is absorbed on the back of the seat, where you – heavily cushioned – are evenly distributed over the head, neck and upper body. On the other hand, with a forward-facing seat, the force of the impact is distributed unevenly throughout the seat structure and restraint system. This means that more forces may act on your child’s body. We therefore recommend that you transport your child rear-facing in the car for as long as possible.
360 degree rotation
The rotating child seat can be easily rotated from a forward-facing to a rear-facing position and back without removing and installing the seat again. In addition, the seat can be turned to the open door in the parked car, for easy seating and buckle-up of your child. Then you turn the seat in the desired direction of travel until it clicks into place and you can start driving.
Multiple adjustable rest positions
Driving should be as comfortable as possible for your little one. That’s why this seat was designed with multiple forward and rear-facing recline positions that you can easily adjust – for a stress-free journey with a squeaky little kid.
Deep, softly padded side panels
The deep, softly padded side bolsters act like a protective cocoon that absorbs the force of a side impact. So that the risk of injury to your child is as low as possible.
Easily adjustable headrest and straps
It couldn’t be easier: You can adjust our padded headrest and shoulder straps with one hand and adjust them to the size of your child. Before you put on the straps, be sure to check that the headrest is in the correct position – i.e. directly above your little one’s shoulders.
5-point harness
We are convinced that a 5-point harness is the best way to protect your child in the car seat. Because it optimally secures your offspring in the protective shell of the seat. In the event of a collision, the harness system distributes and mitigates the impact forces across 5 points: on the shoulders, hips and the buckle between the legs. Your child is protected from all sides in the event of an accident.
Soft special shoulder pads
The soft special shoulder pads nestle comfortably against your child’s body. In the event of an impact, they not only reduce your child’s forward displacement – they also make the 5-point harness even more comfortable. In addition, the upholstery can be easily removed for washing without having to reach into the belt system.
Quickly removable cover
Sometimes the streets can get pretty chaotic. It’s easy to spill a drink or your child may get sick from driving. With foresight, Britax Römer has developed a machine-washable seat cover that can be easily removed without having to remove the belt. So you can get the seat clean again quickly – and you can continue.
Height-adjustable support leg
The support leg gives the child car seat additional stability over the vehicle floor. At the same time, it minimizes the tilting and rotating movement and absorbs the forces that affect your child in the event of an accident – so it is better protected. For a secure installation, the support leg can be adjusted in height so that it fits perfectly in your vehicle. Also helpful: a color indicator shows you when the support leg is positioned stably on the floor of your vehicle.
Installation – ISOFIX with support leg
This child seat must be attached to the vehicle’s ISOFIX anchorage points. ISOFIX is a standard system for attaching child seats that is used in almost all vehicles. This ensures that the child seat is securely fastened in the car at all times. Special requirements for DUALFIX M PLUS: The safe installation of the seat is not complete until a support leg is used, as this ensures optimal stability.
