The EVOLVAFIX is designed to keep children from 15 months to 12 years old traveling safely. It is approved according to the new i-Size regulation and offers even more safety and maximum flexibility. You can trust that! The seat can be converted from a child seat with a 5-point belt to a 3-point vehicle belt in just a few simple steps. Your child up to a size of 105 cm (max. 22 kg) is particularly well protected with the 5-point harness.

In the EVOLVAFIX, your child is particularly safe – from infancy to when they no longer need a child seat. It is reassuring to know: the EVOLVAFIX is approved according to the new i-Size regulation. And the 5-point harness can be used for children up to 105 cm (max. 22 kg). This means even more security for your child.
Flexibility at your fingertips
Thanks to the FLIP&GROW function, you can easily switch between the integrated 5-point belt and 3-point vehicle belt as your child grows. And because nothing has to be removed from the seat, you can switch back to the 5-point harness at any time. Thanks to the EasyRecline function, you can move the built-in seat into various, comfortable resting positions – without having to readjust the top tether. Whatever is most convenient for your child.

The Evolvafix has the new ISOFIX connectors. These can be operated independently of one another, making installation easier.
5-point harness
Britax Römer is convinced that a 5-point harness is the best way to protect your child in the car seat. Because it optimally secures your offspring in the protective shell of the seat. In the event of a collision, the harness system distributes and mitigates the impact forces across 5 points: on the shoulders, hips and the buckle between the legs. Your child is protected from all sides in the event of an accident.
Soft special shoulder pads
The soft special shoulder pads nestle comfortably against your child’s body. In the event of an impact, they not only reduce your child’s forward displacement – they also make the 5-point harness even more comfortable. In addition, the upholstery can be easily removed for washing without having to reach into the belt system.
SecureGuard
The SecureGuard helps to protect your child’s sensitive stomach area – thanks to an additional 4th attachment point. By optimally positioning the lap belt over your child’s pelvic bones, the SecureGuard reduces the forces that act in the event of a frontal impact by up to 35%* and at the same time gives your offspring sufficient freedom of movement while driving. *Britax internal testing using a Q6 dummy of the height and weight of an average 6-year-old child.
Protection thanks to the high backrest
Child seats with a backrest protect your child in three ways: the seat shell protects your child from head to waist, especially in the event of a side impact. At the same time, the upper and lower belt guides ensure that the vehicle belt is in the right place and the padded headrest offers security and comfort for your child’s head and neck.
V-shaped headrest
The V-shaped headrest has been specially designed to control the movement of the child’s sensitive head in the event of a side impact. It not only offers optimal protection but of course also a lot of comfort. In addition, the headrest and harness can be easily adjusted from the front of the seat to best suit your child’s size.
Top Tether
In the event of an impact, the top tether reduces the rotation of the child seat and thus reduces possible head and neck injuries. Thanks to the double anchoring points, this v-shaped top tether offers even more stability and safety for your child than conventional tether systems.
EasyRecline
EasyRecline is suitable for all age groups and allows the seat to be adjusted to various comfortable resting positions. Even while your child is sitting in the seat and without readjusting the top tether – very comfortable for child and parents.
Flip&Grow
When your child has reached a minimum of 100 cm and a maximum of 105 cm (max. 22 kg), you must switch from the integrated 5-point belt to the 3-point vehicle belt to secure your child in the child seat. Thanks to the FLIP&GROW function, this is now possible in just a few simple steps. Simply adjust the headrest and stow the harness in the backrest to avoid losing it. Then the FLIP&GROW changeover plate is set with the SecureGuard and you are ready to go.
Quickly removable cover
Sometimes the streets can get pretty chaotic. It’s easy to spill a drink or your child may get sick from driving. With foresight, we have developed a machine washable seat cover that can be easily removed without removing the harness. So you can get the seat clean again quickly – and you can continue.
Installation
ISOFIX with top tether (76 – 105 cm)
This child seat must be attached to the vehicle’s ISOFIX anchorage points. ISOFIX is a standard system for attaching child seats that is used in almost all vehicles. This ensures that the child seat is securely fastened in the car at all times. Special requirements for EVOLVAFIX: The safe installation of the seat is not complete until a top tether (additional belt) is used, as this ensures optimal stability. Britax Römer i-Size seats fit all vehicle seat positions approved for i-Size. Possible i-Size seating positions in the vehicle can be identified using the vehicle manual.
With belt and ISOFIX attachment (100 – 150 cm)
This child seat must be installed in the vehicle using both the vehicle’s 3-point belt and the ISOFIX anchorage points. This ensures that the child seat is securely fastened in the car at all times – even if there is no child in it.
With belt (100 – 150 cm)
This child seat can be installed using the vehicle’s 3-point belt. This is useful when the seat is used in different cars, which may not all have ISOFIX anchorage points. The belt guides on the child seat help to install it correctly. Suitable vehicle seat positions can be found in the vehicle handbook. We recommend a test installation (by an employee trained by Britax Römer) at a local dealer before purchase.
