The new KIDFIX PRO was developed and approved according to the new i-Size standard. All of the seat’s features were developed with the aim of offering maximum protection. The proven XP-PAD and SICT technologies, in combination with the optimized seat surface, offer all-round protection for optimal crash behavior.

Soft, padded fabric covers and carefully placed ventilation holes in the shell ensure that your child is always comfortable, even on long car journeys. The slim design of the KIDFIX PRO allows three seats to be installed in the back seat of many vehicles. Practical markings on the headrest help you to always adjust it to the right height
PROTECTION THANKS TO A HIGH BACKREST
Our child seats with backrest protect your child in three ways: the seat shell protects your child from head to hip, especially in the event of a side impact. At the same time, the upper and lower belt guides ensure that the vehicle belt is in the right place and the padded headrest offers safety and comfort for your child’s head and neck.

Our engineers have analyzed and tested numerous human body models to ensure that the new KIDFIX PRO is equally comfortable for younger and older children. The result is optimal ergonomics and relaxing journeys for the whole family.
REDESIGNED SEAT FOR OPTIMAL PROTECTION IN THE EVENT OF A COLLISION
In close cooperation with leading car manufacturers, the seat was redesigned to reduce the forces acting on the neck area by up to 10%.

UNIQUE PROTECTION FOR NECK AND CHEST
Despite good planning and careful driving – you are never prepared for a collision. To protect your child’s sensitive neck area, Britax Römer has developed a shock-absorbing foam cushion – the XP-PAD. It prevents your child’s chin from hitting the chest and thus reduces the forces acting by up to 30%*. This reduces the forward movement of the head and protects the neck. At the same time, the comfortable padding protects against the edges of the seat belt.

SIDE IMPACT PROTECTION – SICT
In the event of a side impact, your child is well protected thanks to our side impact protection technology (SICT). On the one hand, the forces to which your child is exposed in the event of a side impact are diverted away from him, and on the other hand, they are weakened before they reach your child. To ensure your child is optimally protected, you should use the SICT technology on the side facing the door. SICT reduces the forces that act in a side impact by up to 40%*

EASILY ADJUSTABLE, ERGONOMIC HEADREST
The headrest has been developed to be particularly comfortable for older children. It is easy to adjust to the correct position. Practical markings on the back help you find the correct setting every time the seat is moved between cars or used by different children.
Difference between KIDFIX I-SIZE and KIDFIX PRO
The KIDFIX PRO is equipped with a new SICT part. Free plastic surfaces have been more concealed. The seat has been given softer upholstery.
Installation
With belt and ISOFIX attachment:
This child seat must be installed in the vehicle using both the vehicle’s 3-point belt and the ISOFIX anchor points. This ensures that the child seat is securely attached in the car at all times – even when there is no child in it. KIDFIX PRO has integrated ISOFIX connectors that allow the child car seat to be connected to the vehicle’s ISOFIX attachment points. If the child is secured with the car’s 3-point belt system, the ISOFIX system offers optimal protection in the event of an accident and ensures that the car seat is always firmly attached to the car – even if there is no small passenger in it. Whether the child seat is compatible with the respective vehicle can be found using the type list or by contacting us.
With belt
This child seat can be installed using the vehicle’s 3-point belt. This is useful if the seat is used in different cars, which may not all have ISOFIX anchor points. The belt guides on the child seat help to install it correctly. Suitable vehicle seating positions can be found in the vehicle manual.
