Vario Base 5Z – modular comfort and flexibility
The modular base is compatible with the BABY-SAFE PRO as well as the BABY-SAFE 3 i-SIZE and the DUALFIX 5Z – and accompanies your little one from their first trip up to the age of four. The seats can be easily installed and removed with just one click. You can easily lift the baby seat using the handle using the easily accessible release button. The adjustable support bar also offers additional legroom when your child is riding backwards.
Always set for comfort
In cars with reclined seats, your child’s head may tilt forward if they are buckled into the seat. For this reason, the VARIO BASE 5Z can be adjusted to six different positions so that your child is always safe and comfortable on the move. With the baby seat, it is best to set the correct angle before installing the seat. With the DUALFIX 5Z, the angle can be easily adjusted to a more comfortable position on the go – even while your child is sleeping.
Strapped in in no time – the rotating base
All compatible seats for the VARIO BASE 5Z can be turned towards the open car door to make it even easier to put your child in and buckle them up. We recommend letting your child ride backwards for as long as possible. If the child is over 15 months old and 76 cm tall, the DUALFIX 5Z can simply be rotated 180 degrees on the base so that your child can ride forward facing.
