The rearward-facing sitting position in the Sirona S2 i-Size offers your child increased safety in the event of a frontal impact. As soon as you switch to the forward-facing position, the energy reduction technology ensures safety while driving. The headrest and belt system are designed to reduce the forces in the event of an impact, so that you can be sure that your child is protected in every direction of travel.

The innovative 360 degree rotation mechanism offers a comfortable and back-friendly option for parents to put your child in the Sirona S2 i-Size. In no time at all, the seat can be turned to the door side and the change from backwards to forwards is quick and easy.
Comfortable travel in the safest position
A rear-facing child seat increases the safety of your child in the event of a frontal collision. In this position, the forces of the impact are directed to the shell of the child seat. It is mandatory that children up to 15 months of age and 76 cm tall must travel rearward facing. However, CYBEX recommends transporting children facing backwards in the Sirona S2 i-Size for as long as possible.
Reduces forward impact forces
The energy reduction technology increases your child’s safety in the forward-facing sitting position. Impact forces are channeled directly into the child seat via the belt system, where they are partially reduced by the energy-absorbing materials. This reduces the forces acting on the sensitive neck of the child by approx. 20%.
Reduces the impact force in a side impact
The integrated L.S.P. System offers increased safety in the event of a side impact. In this way, the forces of a side collision in connection with the energy-absorbing shell can be reduced.
Quick change to a sleeping position
With the one-handed seat and reclining adjustment, nothing stands in the way of a quiet and relaxed journey.
