The elegant openwork pattern can only be knitted by very few mechanical machines in our production. This precious look is supported by an elaborate shell seam that surrounds the edge of the blanket.

Properties of Disana wool
Wool keeps you warm because its naturally curled fibers trap a lot of air. Wool is temperature-regulating and releases excess body heat to the cooler environment.
Pure virgin wool absorbs up to a third of its own weight in vaporous moisture without feeling damp. At the same time, thanks to its lanolin content, the fiber protects against external moisture and allows water droplets to bead off the surface.
Wool does not become electrostatically charged and therefore hardly attracts dirt or odors. One of the main advantages of wool is its high elasticity, which makes it practically crease-free.
Care of Disana wool products:
Wool is very similar in its chemical structure to human hair. Therefore, as with washing your hair, it should be cleaned as gently as possible.
Wool hardly absorbs dirt, the scales on the surface of the fibers actually repel dirt. This means that wool clothing rarely needs to be washed; airing is usually completely sufficient.
If wool items do need to be washed, however, natural wool should always be hand-washed at a maximum of 30 degrees. Wool is extremely sensitive to alkalis and therefore also to soap.
To wash wool, use a special wool detergent, e.g. our disana wool shampoo. To prevent it from matting, wool must not be soaked, rubbed, wrung or brushed. Simply press it gently with your hand. Drying in the sun, on the heater or even in the tumble dryer is taboo
