The Sebra baby changing unit with drawers is a baby changing unit that can easily be converted into a classic storage unit when it is no longer needed.
The Sebra baby changing unit has covers at the back and sides and has a raised edge with small round bars that contribute to the characteristic look of the Sebra baby changing unit, for which the Sebra bed is also known. The Sebra changing unit (inside dimensions) has a depth of 66 cm and a width of 69 cm, which means that it has room for a changing mat and other items needed for changing, changing clothes or simply lying down comfortably with baby babies babbling.
The two drawers offer space for storing clothes, nappies, toys or whatever else you need. The drawers are equipped with a „soft-close“ mechanism that ensures that the drawers close quietly. This minimises the risk of a finger getting caught, and this in a children’s room where little fingers are not always as fast as the big ones – a useful feature.
The practical transformation from a baby’s changing unit to a storage unit is achieved simply by removing the upper changing top from the lower section. This means that you don’t have to store the entire changing unit or give the changing table away when none of your children are wearing diapers or when you no longer need a changing table in the house. This gives the Sebra Changing Chest an extra long life and makes it a product that grows with your child or its siblings – a piece of furniture that is also easy to pass on.
The fronts have recessed handles which, together with the rounded corners of the chest, contribute to the safety of the child in the nursery – because there are no sharp edges that can cause scratches or scrapes. The Sebra baby changing unit stands on four legs, thanks to which the unit looks lighter than without legs. They also provide possible storage space under the chest of drawers if required.
The Sebra changing unit meets all safety requirements according to EN 12221-1:2008 + A1: 2013 – Articles for babies and young children – Changing facilities for domestic use.The Sebra baby changing unit is designed for children from birth up to 12 months / 11 kg.
The organic paint used for the changing unit is non-toxic and tested and meets all safety requirements according to the European standard EN71-2, EN 71-3 – the standard series for safety criteria for toys. In addition, the Sebra baby changing unit meets all safety requirements according to EN 717-1:2004, the regulations for formaldehyde emission from wood-based materials. Furthermore, the Sebra baby changing unit meets the requirements for VOC (volatile organic compounds) content, which ensures that the paint does not emit any vapours that are harmful to health or the environment.
Furthermore, the Sebra baby changer is of course approved according to the REACH regulation. REACH is the EU’s basic regulation that ensures that chemicals are used in a responsible manner and with minimal risk to health and the environment.
The Sebra changing unit is designed in Denmark and produced in Europe.The furniture is delivered in individual parts and is easy to assemble with the help of the accompanying assembly instructions, which should be kept for future use.
WARNING: Never leave an infant or toddler alone on the changing table without adult supervision. Always keep an eye on the baby while it is lying on the changing table.
IMPORTANT: Always remember to fix the dresser to the wall using the wall brackets provided.
Care and cleaning: Wipe with a cloth dipped in warm soapy water and wrung out. Always use a soft cloth to avoid scratches and always dry with a well-wrung cloth. Never use abrasive cleaners, bleach or sharp objects for cleaning.
